Coast to Coast Pizza Company landed one of Portnoy’s highest Florida Keys scores. During the review, he described the pizza as “good, quality football pizza.”

If your Florida Keys drive takes you through Marathon, this is one of the higher-scoring stops on his list. They also have a location in Key Largo.

Big Pine Key

No Name Pub

Score: 3.8

At No Name Pub is one of those Florida Keys spots where the experience goes well beyond the pizza.

Known for its laid-back atmosphere, cold drinks, casual pub fare and one-of-a-kind Keys character, the longtime Big Pine Key hangout has become a destination in its own right. During his visit, Portnoy gave the pizza a 3.8, but the setting and personality of the pub were a big part of the stop and the place itself scored a 9.7 with Portnoy stating "...you have to, have to go."

So go for the history and quirky atmosphere, grab a drink and something from the menu, and decide for yourself what makes this iconic Lower Keys spot worth the detour.
