Sheriff’s Animal Farm Open House

Enjoy a fun and memorable family outing at the Monroe County Sheriff’s Animal Farm on Stock Island. Open the second and fourth Sunday of each month from 1 to 3 p.m., this unique local attraction gives visitors a chance to meet an incredible variety of animals in a welcoming, kid-friendly setting.

Guests can see favorites such as a capybara, sloths, goats, birds, a possum, and many more animals cared for by the farm. It is a relaxed and educational stop for families, animal lovers, and anyone looking for a different side of the Florida Keys.

Admission is free, though donations of cash or fresh produce are always appreciated to help support the animals. The farm is located at the Stock Island Detention Center, 5501 College Road.
