Michelle Nicole Lowe painted the cover of the 2023 Keys Traveler, a watercolor marking two hundred years of the Florida Keys. She is a fifth-generation Conch whose great-grandfather sailed over from Green Turtle Cay, and she paints the fish, birds and old bridges she grew up around.

Arana Glass has been painting faces onto coconuts for more than thirty years, and since 2020 she and her husband have been hiding them around the Keys for strangers to find and keep. Her studio at mile marker 86.7 in Islamorada has the originals, the prints, and a good deal more.
