Key West International Dance Company: Murder or Mutiny

Friday, November 13 through Sunday, November 15, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. nightly. The Key West International Dance Company premieres Murder or Mutiny at the Tennessee Williams Theatre, a newly created work by the company’s founder, Pamela Stephenson Connolly.

It is a true pirate story set in 1800. Captain Samuel sails from London toward the far east on a get rich or die trying voyage that carries him from Java to China and beyond. The company tells it as a romantic drama through dance and aerial artistry rather than dialogue.

Connolly brings an unusual résumé to it. She has danced since she was five, trained in ballet and performed with London’s Festival Ballet Company, now the English National Ballet, before a career that ran through acting, comedy, psychology and writing, including Saturday Night Live and the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing. She arrived in Key West from New York in 2016, opened Pasión Studio on Southard Street and founded the company. Her Pasión Project Dancers took Best in Entertainment at the Fantasy Fest Parade.

The Tennessee Williams Theatre is at 5901 College Road on the College of the Florida Keys campus on Stock Island.
