Key West Oyster Fest
Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 5 to 10 p.m. Shuck, slurp, and celebrate at the inaugural Key West Oyster Fest, a new waterfront culinary celebration at Half Shell Raw Bar in the Key West Historic Seaport.
Presented in partnership with Everglades Oyster Company, the festival brings together oyster farmers, Key West restaurants and chefs, skilled shuckers, artists, live music, drinks, and plenty of oysters for an evening celebrating Florida’s seafood culture.
Legendary Florida chef Norman Van Aken serves as the inaugural Oyster Fest Ambassador, bringing a special connection to the celebration through his influential culinary career and early years cooking in Key West.
Beyond the food and festivities, Oyster Fest also highlights oyster shell recycling and coastal restoration. The event supports efforts to keep discarded shells out of landfills and explore opportunities to reuse them in environmental restoration projects.
Set along the harbor at Half Shell Raw Bar, 231 Margaret Street, the festival combines fresh seafood, waterfront atmosphere, live entertainment, and a celebration of the people who help sustain Florida’s oyster and seafood communities.
Come hungry and experience a new Key West tradition celebrating oysters, local flavors, coastal culture, and conservation at the Historic Seaport.
