8th Annual Trunk or Treat Halloween Party

Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. The Village of Islamorada throws its 8th Annual Trunk or Treat Halloween Party on the Great Lawn at Founders Park, and it is built for kids who want more than a walk around the block.

Decorated car trunks line the lawn handing out candy, and around them the village sets up an inflatable obstacle course, a bounce house and a pumpkin decorating station. A DJ keeps the music going, with dancing, juggling and face painting through the evening.
The night builds to a costume parade and contest, so come dressed. Food and soft drinks are available for purchase on site.

Founders Park is a 45 acre village park at 87000 Overseas Highway with a shallow water beach, an Olympic size pool, a splash pad, sports courts, playgrounds, a dog park and a marina. Parking for the event is $15.

Trunk registration is open for anyone who wants to decorate and hand out candy.
